When You Feel Weary | Matthew 11:28-30
Have you ever hit a point where you feel drained—physically, emotionally, even spiritually? Like, no matter how much sleep you get or how hard you try, you’re still running on empty? If that sounds familiar, today’s devotional is for you.
We’re looking at Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:28: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Life gets heavy sometimes, and it’s easy to feel like you have to carry it all on your own. But God never meant for you to do that. He’s offering real rest—not just for your body, but for your soul.
Isaiah 40:29 reminds us that “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” So if you’re feeling worn down today, take a moment to pause. Breathe. Bring your burdens to Him, and let Him strengthen you from the inside out.
You’re not alone in this. God is with you, and He hasn’t forgotten you.
