Guard Your Heart | Proverbs 4:23

Our hearts are the source of everything we do, think, and feel, and Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV) reminds us: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

This verse emphasizes the importance of protecting our inner lives, because what we allow in shapes our thoughts, words, and actions. Guarding our hearts means being intentional about what we read, watch, and listen to, and allowing God’s truth to take root deeply within us. When His Word fills our hearts, it transforms our perspectives, strengthens our character, and guides our decisions. By protecting our hearts from sin, negativity, and fear, we create a foundation for a life aligned with God’s purposes.
