Standing with Israel

Have you ever wondered why the Bible calls us to stand with Israel? From the very beginning, God chose Israel as His covenant people and promised Abraham in Genesis 12:3 (NKJV): “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

That promise still stands today. Supporting and praying for Israel is not just a political choice—it’s a biblical calling. Psalm 122:6 (NKJV) reminds us: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”

When we honor God’s people, we align ourselves with His heart. His faithfulness to Israel is a reminder of His faithfulness to us. Standing with Israel means standing with God’s promises.

So today, make it a point to lift up Israel in prayer. Pray for peace, protection, and God’s plan to continue unfolding through His people. As we do, we can trust that the same faithful God who keeps His promises to Israel will keep His promises to us as well.
