The Dangers of Sexual Immorality and God’s Design for Purity
God has given each of us a body and a life to honor Him. Part of that calling includes understanding His design for sexuality and choosing purity in a world full of temptations.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (NKJV) reminds us: “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
This verse isn’t just a warning—it’s an invitation to live fully in God’s blessing. Sexual immorality, in all forms, goes against His design for human flourishing. When we honor God with our bodies, we embrace the life He intended for us.
Fleeing temptation isn’t easy, but it’s possible through prayer, accountability, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Every choice to live in purity strengthens our relationship with God and reflects His holiness to the world.
Take a moment today to commit your body, your mind, and your heart to Him. Walk in His ways, honor His design, and experience the freedom that comes from living in obedience.
