LIGHT Women's Paint Party

Ladies! Join us on 6/13 at 7 PM in the Fellowship Hall for a paint party! We'll be painting wooden door hangers to decorate your home. Each door hanger will be $35. You will pay at the event & make sure to bring your favorite appetizer or dessert to share. You can email lightwomens@clearviewbc.org for more information.

Car Wash

Join us for our Illuminate Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, June 21! From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Henderson Wellness Center, our students will be washing cars to raise funds for their upcoming Illuminate Mission Trips. Your support will help them serve communities in Hendersonville, NC and Boston, Massachusetts. Come by, get your car cleaned, and make a difference in the lives of these students!

Salvation is Through Christ Alone

Many people today are actually placing their faith in a false gospel that carries with it no promise of forgiveness or eternal life. The true gospel shows us how much God loves us and how he sent His Son to rescue us. It is both a declaration and demands a response.

Declaration

Jesus brought God's Kingdom into the world.
He is Christ, God's Anointed King.
He died on the cross for our sins, according to Scriptures.
He was buried but rose again on the third day, according to Scriptures and was seen by many.

Demand

Repent - change of thinking about sin, self, and Savior
Believe - trust that Jesus is God's Son who has paid the penalty of our sins and He can remove the guilt of sin and give eternal life
Follow - as our King, we are to obey and follow Him no matter the cost. Without this element, the gospel is not the true gospel.
